It is so important to think of the pros and cons when neutering or spaying your dog. You have to weigh up the benefits of neutering your dog and also weigh up the cons. There are a lot of decision to be made when you are thinking about this. For instance once is if can make your dog put on weight however it can calm them down. If you don't get it done you have to prepare yourself for a higher risk of cancer in dogs and females but also the females can have phantom pregnancies which are not nice for them to go through. This is something else to consider. I would always recommend speaking to your vet and talking to them about the pros and cons as well.
